The relief of Spain is quite diverse, and the dominant role is played by mountain range systems that occupy 60% of the country's territory. In the southern regions are the Andalusian Mountains, in which the Sierra Del Segura mountain range is located. Las Banderillas Peak at 6,539 feet is the highest point of the range. The mountain range itself is named after the ancient town of Segura de la Sierra, on the territory of which The Sierras de Cazorla and Segura y Las Villas Natural Park are located.
