Horses were domesticated about 6000 years ago, and they're one of the most loyal companions and helpers of man. They're able to distinguish between familiar and unfamiliar people only by voice. But it's also interesting that horses can determine a person's emotions. According to research published by Biology Letters in 2016, it became known that horses not only accurately identify positive and negative emotions of a person, but also experience stress from negative emotions of people. They remember the emotional state of a person they saw earlier in the day. And what is especially amazing is that they change their behavior depending on it.
